A carved elephant carries a round top with a carved border, and the grain of every piece is individual. Choose an 11-inch round top at 20 inches high, a 14-inch round top at 22 inches high, or a 15-inch round top at 20 inches high, all in a walnut finish. Haussmann's artisans in Thailand kiln-dry and hand-carve the wood. Grain, knots, natural checks, and tool marks vary from piece to piece. Some areas may be smoothed or repaired with wood glue mixed with sawdust during finishing.

Walnut finish

Walnut describes the finish color, not a different wood species.
